Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)

Welcome to our DPS site. Our DPSs are shown below, or can be searched via the Search facility.

Our DPSs are divided into categories of works, services, and/or locations. You can apply to be listed on a single category or on multiple categories, and you can join at any time throughout the period of the DPS, there is no limit to the number of suppliers who can join. Generally our DPS are open for 8 years. 

Once accepted, the benefit for a supplier in using a DPS is you don’t have to demonstrate suitability and capability each time you wish to compete for one of these contracts, and the award process is quicker and more straightforward. You will need to register to apply which is free, and you will be asked to complete a Stage 1 Pre-Qualification Questionnaire which you will need to pass – you will then be invited to quote whenever a requirement becomes available. Requirements are advertised as Stage 2 Mini-Competitions, and all suppliers listed under the category will be invited. Generally there is a two week advertising window depending on the requirement. There is no standstill period when awarding under a DPS.
